The Seeburg H retailed for $2,500 in 1918, but was available for $850 wholesale.  By 1924, the price jumped to $3,150, but started to decline by $3,000 in 1926. This is a luxurious machine and a testament to the loving care craftsmen put into nickelodeons.  This model features two carved human figures, which represent “Strength” and “Beauty,” two hallmarks of the mechanical music era.  Advertised as “The Masked Marvel,” the Seeburg H was the largest and most ornate keyboard-style American orchestrion.
